How does it work?
Dudu.Ru works in a really simple way. Register,connect your web-cam and start chatting.
What's the difference between an open and a private videoconferences?
An open videoconference is public and can be viewed by any dudu.ru user at any time. A private conference can be viewed by invitation only. You may invite anyone to join your private conference by sending a special link. To be able to accept your invitation, one doesn't even have to register to this service.
How many people can watch a videoconference? How many web-cams can broadcast simultaneously?
We don't know for sure yet but in theory, the number of viewers is infinite. Any of the users may broadcast from their web-cam at any time but only 8 broadcast will be visible. Any user may choose what particular broadcasts they want to watch. To do so, one should use "Who's there?" tab to switch on and off the broadcasts at their pleasure.
DuduPhone - what's that?
DuduPhone is your personal virtual room where you can invite any user from your "Contact List" by making just one click of your mouse. The difference between DuduPhone and a private videoconference is that it is by invitation only and you can choose whom of the other users and when you want to see there at your pleasure. They will be able to see and access your broadcast there.
What is "Contacts" and why do I need them?
"Contacts" or "Contact List" is a list of users with whom you interact regularly. If one adds users to their "Contact List", one can find them easily on Dudu.Ru in future, which makes your conferencing much quicker and easier.
How to add a user to "Contacts"?
To add someone to your "Contact List", go to his Profile.
How to find a particular user on this site?
Use "Search Contacts" facility. To find a particular person, one has to khow either his username or his profile's number.
